South Padbury Primary School is committed to working with parents to support students struggling to attend school. The school has a number of personnel and resources ready to assist families during what can be an emotional and difficult time for everyone.
If you see that your child is displaying regular high levels of distress and reluctance about going to school, and this persists for a number of weeks, please firstly speak with your child’s class teacher as soon as possible, so both home and school can begin to explore what may be causing the distress.
We have put together a number of helpful articles and websites that can provide parents with further information and a starting point to exploring any concerns.
