Creative Minds in TA9

TA9 have been getting creative this term in STEM and Art. Working in groups, we planned, designed and built hybrid Lego animals for our own class LEGO MASTERS! Some of the incredible creations included a blue-tongued fox (lizard x fox), flamingraffe (flamingo x giraffe) and a turcoon (turtle x racoon). We had so much fun!

In Math’s this term we have been playing lots of board games to help us learn how to add up costs and work out change. One of our favourite games is ‘Race to the Bank’ where we control our own piggy banks while we race around a track to the finish line.

In Art, we produced ‘optical illusion aquariums’ by experimenting with lines and colour. Once we finished tracing our lines in black marker and colouring in our sea creatures in crayon, we used edicol dye to bring our drawings to life!
